Summer 2020 is here and we might not have the best mentality due to the recovering phase of the pandemic. Here I have the ultimate guide to having the best summer despite staying at home and reducing social interactions.

Internal goals includes building health habits such as eat healthy food and exercise as you will not have the luxury and opportunities to do that once we are back in our hectic lives. Create a summer morning routine Wake up early, get dressed, eat a good breakfast and all. Make sure to get some sunlight by going outside regularly. Try to reduce interaction with others but you can do sunbathing or yoga in your yard or so to make sure you are not lacking Vitamin D.
Read self improvement books to have some growth on your mental health.

Pick up a hobby. Something that you have always wanted to do, but never had the time to. This is the time to start. Go learn something. Let it be an instrument or a skill. Even if it does not have anything to do with your school or career. Learn it for the sake of having fun and to give yourself a sense of accomplishment. My personal favourite is to discover new music. I love music, thus the new hobby that I've picked up is to make playlists. It's something everyone has done and still does. It may not seem that great, but it gives me a sense of accomplishment and it's fun to do so. I pretty much make playlists for mood and vibe.

Don't be upset or cranky throughout this period. Learn to embrace the changes. Keep yourself updated on the latest news regarding the pandemic. Keep in touch with your loved ones. Look out for them. Be there if they need someone to talk to. And also, reach out for help if you are in need of someone to talk to. It could be your loved ones or even me, a complete stranger.
