Hi everyone!
I’m @evilprinxes and in this article I’ll recommend some date ideas inspired by the dark academia aesthetic. If you’re looking for new activities to try and new places to visit with your date or maybe your friends, keep reading! Of course I based these ideas on my country’s COVID restrictions. I know that in some places it isn’t possible to recreate this date ideas, but you can still do it in video call or maybe use this list next year. But if you can do this in person, please remember to wear a mask and stay safe • Date in the library:
You can go to your town’s library (or even a bookshop) and pick a book for each other. It can be a book that you’ve already read or one that you’ve just discovered and that make you think about your significant other(s). After you’ve both read the book you can exchange them and leave some notes between the pages. • Poetry night :
You can stay indoor or maybe go to your favorite place, and then read some poems to each other. You can write your own poems or just read the ones that really describe the way you feel about the other person and maybe explain why. • Music date:
If you can play an instrument, you can play your favorite autumn/classic songs. You can also make some playlists to each other and listen to them while you’re spending your time together or you can slow dance your favorite songs. If you’re looking for some inspiration check my fall playlist here:
• Cooking date:
You can try making your favorite fall drinks/food: on the internet there are a lot of recipes and they’re delicious! If you don’t know what to cook, here some ideas: - Cinnamon rolls; - Hot chocolate; - Pumpkin pie; - Apple crumble; - Anything with caramel; - Anything with cinnamon. • Evening in nature:
If you live in the countryside and if it’s safe for you to do it, you can spend the evening in a forest or near to a lake and maybe look at the stars together. •Movie night:
Kinda basic but still cute: you can pick your favorite fall movie or you can watch your ‘comfort’ tv shows while eating some popcorns. My personal advice is to make a projector together and then use it indoor or outdoor. If you don’t know what to watch, here some ideas: - When Harry met Sally - Dead poets society; - Blue is the warmest color; - The breakfast club; - All the Harry Potter movies • Museum date:
This is maybe my favorite one in this list. Just choose a museum that you really would like to visit and go there together. To make it a little bit funnier you can try to recreate the paintings. And that’s all! Thank you for reading this article and please remember to stay safe!
