What To Look For When Choosing An Apartment

Hello honey!

It's been a while since I wrote here. Hope you are doing well. Today I'm gonna help you to hire your new apartment. It's really important to think in every aspect while choosing an apartment. I have faced many problems with my last apartment & learnt a lot from it. I hope my experience will help you too. So here you go...

1. Don't pay anything until you've seen the apartment : No matter how much the landlord forces you to pay advance, just ignore him in this case. Take a look at that apartment first & take time to think. 2. Try to meet your potential neighbours: Neighbours are the one who can help you when you're in danger. No matter how much your friends support you but they can't be with you anytime & they just can't be so quick to help you. In this case you surely expect help from your neighbours. 3. Visit the neighborhood in daytime, on nights & on weekends : Idk if it makes sense but you'll never want to spoil your weekend or night. It's important to inspect the area during various times of the week. Obviously you'll need time for this but it'll be worth it when you actually move into your apartment. 4. Consider their pet policy : I need not to talk about it but you just can't forget about it. I mean where will you keep your pet if they don't allow you after you moved in?? 5. Consider the commute : This is another headache! Think you're too tired & you're on your way to home but it takes hours to reach home. Oh dear, you just don't deserve this. So it's better to check it already. 6. Don't forget to check which utilities are covered : You won't be able to give time to repair or replace the things once you start your work. Do it when you visit the apartment before you move in. Ask your landlord your questions. Don't hesitate. 7. Take photos & make a list : Don't forget to have a look with your landlord about the pre-existing issues & make sure he signs the checklist. Also take the photos of that for evidence. Otherwise you will have to lose some from your security deposit. That's it for today. Stay tuned for our next article. Tell me if these tips are helpful to you or not. You can always ask me if you've any questions.

Love a lot!
