The Benefits of Trees and How to Protect Them

Hi everyone !

Today's article is brought to you by @toshitabhangale and @s_rdk_1. We’ve decided to talk about something extremely important: Trees. Not only do they look visually stunning, but they also possess some really cool properties that are very useful to our planet. We’re gonna talk about why trees matter, about some really interesting species and how some people take action to keep our trees, and therefore planet, alive.

Why trees matter

Since the beginning of industrialization, we are so busy making our lives better & better. It created too much pollution that is hard to control but a small initiative can really help to get the same nontoxic nature back & show our gratitude to nature.

You may have heard of Photosynthesis. We don't know if you know or not but it's the most fascinating living reaction on earth. All the invisible things combine in a perfect recipe & give the basis of life on Mother Earth. Plants use the CO2 along with some other ingredients as a raw material for synthesis of starch & gives out pure Oxygen ; this process is known as photosynthesis. This also helps to slow down Global Warming which is also a big threat.

So all we need is to plant more & more trees. But the choice of trees is also important since this is to remove excess CO2 & other harmful gases from the air.

The wonders of nature

There are some amazing species of trees out there that absorb more co2 than others and therefore purify the air. These trees use large amounts of carbon dioxide from the air & are of the utmost importance. Here are some of them :

• Common Horse-Chestnut • Black Walnut • Oak Species • Red pine, White pine • American Sweetgum • Chrysanthemum

Chrysanthemum are shown to eliminate common toxins & also the ammonia.

How to keep them growing

As we said before, planting trees is a great solution to global warming, but did you know you can also support brands or companies that specify in planting trees in exchange of your contribution ? There are companies like Ecosia, a search engine that plants trees for a certain number of researches (they also have an online shop), brands such as Forestry, Tentree, Baron Fig, or simply non-profits like One Tree Planted. If you’re willing to help our planet and reduce global warming then why not support those companies by buying their products or simply using their services ? With help from them, planting trees and contributing to change truly becomes easier.

That’s it for today’s article guys ! We hope you liked it.
See you soon!
