16 apps you need for school

DISCLAIMER: Some apps may not be available in your region or phone however the majority are also available as websites.

With the start of school after a long period of rest, it can be hard to get back on track and feeling focused to work. Luckily, our phones are there to help us get back on track and feeling adequately prepared enough to get good grades this year. Hopefully this list helps you out whether or not you'll be doing class online or in person.

Apps for studying:

✰ Quizlet

This is a good app if you need to make digital flashcards to memorize vocab or study for a test. It's also nice because you can access other people's public study sets so you don't need to spend a lot of time creating your own or if you do you can also share them with your friends to study together too.

✰ Kahoot

Kahoot is a classic school app lol. So many teachers use this as a fun way to prep students for a test, but you can use it by yourself as a more fun way to study than Quizlet.

✰ Quizizz

Quizizz is kind of like Kahoot, but you can play live with other students.

✰ Socratic

It's a more scholastic version of Google where you can search things by typing a question or taking a picture of it.

Apps for language learning:

✰ Reverso Context

Like Google Translate, but more reliable in my opinion.

✰ Google Translate

I feel like this one doesn't need any explanation, but you can also use it to read over an essay to check for mistakes you may have made.

Apps for focus and setting goals:

✰ MinimaList

You can also use notes though this one sends you notifications.

✰ Focus To-Do

A timer app for studying or making time for your goals.

✰ Flora

Flora is one of the many plant apps you can use to help you focus.

Apps for math:

✰ Mathway

Solves and walks you through problems in a basic way. If you want to learn the subject I recommend using Khan Academy instead.

✰ Photomath

Like Mathway, but you can take a picture of the problem or use it as a graphing calculator.

✰ Desmos

A better graphing calculator than the other two.

Apps for communication:

✰ Slack

Like Discord for school and work. You can use it to communicate in clubs you're in.

✰ Remind

A way to communicate with your teachers and get reminders from them.

Apps to make submitting assignments easier:

✰ Scanner App

Turns any picture you take into a PDF that you can submit to your teachers to look more professional.

That's all! As always, thanks for reading!!
